BMW F 450 GS Showcased at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

BMW showcased the F 450 GS at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The bike was first unveiled at EICMA 2024 and created a lot of global buzz among adventure bike enthusiasts.

At the heart of this BMW is a 450cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47 bhp. The motorcycle comes equipped with a high-mounted front beak, LED headlights and a narrow tail section, which will remind you of the bigger R 1300 GS. The gold-coloured front suspension, single-piece seat, and tubeless spoked wheels wrapped in knobby dual-purpose tyres give the bike a rugged, adventurous appeal.

The BMW F 450 GS is set to feature an all-new chassis, paired with a fully adjustable gold-coloured front fork and a monoshock for the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends, mounted on cross-spoked tubeless wheels fitted with dual-purpose knobby tyres. The front wheel is a 19-inch unit, while the rear measures 17 inches, ensuring the bike is capable of long-distance touring and off-road adventures alike. BMW Motorrad has previously stated that the motorcycle will have a kerb weight of 175kg. Additional premium features include a brass-coated chain, knuckle guards, and a tall flyscreen for added functionality and style.

We are yet to know if TVS in India will manufacture this motorcycle for the world. If the bike is made in collaboration with TVS, we will surely get a good line-up from TVS, powered by the same 450cc parallel-twin engine.

We expect the BMW F 450 GS will launch by the end of the year, with the concept showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 looking nearly production-ready. Once launched, the F 450 GS will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure S, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Aprilia Tuareg 457.
