Kawasaki India has listed the 2027 Z1100 on its official website at ₹12.79 lakh (ex-showroom), carrying forward the motorcycle without any significant changes from the 2026 model. The latest listing retains the same design, 1,099cc inline-four engine, electronics package and hardware. The price also remains unchanged at ₹12.79 lakh, making the 2027 listing a continuation of the existing model rather than a substantial update.
Design
The Kawasaki Z1100 continues with the brand’s signature Sugomi design philosophy. Its sharp bodywork, muscular proportions and aggressive front end give it the distinctive appearance of a large-capacity supernaked motorcycle.
The overall design remains unchanged for 2027, with the Ebony/Metallic Carbon Gray colour scheme continuing from the previous model year. The exposed mechanical components and compact bodywork retain the Z1100’s streetfighter character, distinguishing it from fully faired sport motorcycles.
Engine and Performance
Powering the Kawasaki Z1100 is a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, inline-four engine with a DOHC, 16-valve configuration. It produces 136hp at 9000 rpm and 113Nm of torque at 7600 rpm, with power sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox.
There are no changes to the engine specifications for the 2027 model year. The same power output, torque figures and transmission are carried forward from the 2026 Z1100.
Features and Electronics
The Kawasaki Z1100 retains its existing electronics package, which includes an inertial measurement unit (IMU), three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS).
The motorcycle also gets electronic cruise control and a bi-directional Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts. These features enhance convenience during longer rides and provide quicker gear changes during spirited riding.
A 5-inch full-colour TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity through RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE is also part of the package. None of these features is new for 2027; they continue from the previous model.
Chassis, Suspension and Brakes
The Z1100 continues to use a tubular diamond frame, paired with 41mm front forks and a Horizontal Back-link rear suspension setup. The rear suspension features rebound damping and spring preload adjustability.
Braking duties are handled by twin 310mm front discs with Brembo radial-mounted, monobloc, opposed four-piston calipers, while the rear gets a single disc. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels with a 120/70-section front tyre and a 190/50-section rear tyre.
The Z1100 has a seat height of 815mm, ground clearance of 125mm and a kerb mass of 220kg. Its fuel tank has a capacity of 17 litres. These specifications remain unchanged for the 2027 model year.
Pricing in India
Kawasaki India lists the 2027 Z1100 at ₹12.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the same price as the 2026 model. The motorcycle continues in the Standard variant and the Ebony/Metallic Carbon Gray colour scheme.
With no significant changes to its styling, engine, features or hardware, the 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 remains the same supernaked motorcycle introduced for the previous model year. Buyers continue to get a 1,099cc inline-four engine, a comprehensive electronics package and premium cycle parts, but there are no major additions to distinguish the latest listing from its predecessor.
