Overview
Kawasaki launched the 2026 Z1100 in Global markets earlier this year, and now, the brand has officially launched the Z1100 in India. The new flagship naked bike arrives as the brand’s latest addition to its Z lineup, bringing aggressive styling, updated technology, and a more powerful engine to the segment. It replaces the Z1000 as the flagship motorcycle of its supernaked lineup.
Design
The 2026 Z1100 features Kawasaki’s signature Sugomi design, which gives it a muscular and sporty look. It features the signature dual-pod headlamps, a muscular tank section, and a short tail section; it retains the signature Z series design language.
Engine and Gearbox
It features a 1099cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 134.14bhp at 9000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 7600rpm. Kawasaki has tuned this engine to deliver power in the low- to mid-range. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
Chassis, Suspension and Brakes
The Kawasaki Z1100 features an aluminium twin-tube frame. Up front, it uses a fully adjustable 41mm Showa upside-down fork that handles compression and rebound damping plus preload adjustments, allowing for precise tuning to rider preference. At the rear there is a fully adjustable monoshock suspension. The Z1100 gets a 310mm dual-disk setup at the front and a 260mm disk at the rear, with radial-mount Tokico calipers at both the front and rear. The Z1100 weighs 221kg, which is 9kg heavier than the previous Z1000.
Features and Rider Aids
The Kawasaki Z1100 gets a 5-inch TFT display which offers Bluetooth connectivity, Navigation, Call, and message alerts. Other features include two power modes, three levels of traction control, dual-channel ABS, a slip and assist clutch, bi-directional quick shifter and cruise control.

The 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 is priced at 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom), and it rivals bikes like Honda Hornet 1000sp, which is priced at 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom)
