The long-awaited 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R complete spec sheet is finally out. The adventure motorcycle scene in India is booming. We see immensely capable adventure motorcycles across the board, starting from the Hero Xpulse 200 4V all the way up to the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure seems to be a highly capable machine, at least on paper. We will soon learn about its real-world performance once we get the bike for testing.
Power Figures
The KTM 390 Adventure R is powered by a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox that produces 44.25 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. This engine has already proven itself on the latest 390 Duke. Still, the engine might be tuned differently on the 390 Adventure R to provide more power and torque for better off-road capabilities. More on this once we test the bike out.
Design
The 390 Adventure R has a tall stance and an aggressive-looking front end, with its beak, twin headlights, knuckle guards, block pattern tyres and tall windscreen. From the side view, it is noticeable that you get a big fuel tank, a long seat, a luggage plate, tubeless spoked wheels and an underbelly exhaust. It looks like an immensely capable machine ready to take on various challenges.
